D. Possessive Form
We form the possessive of singular nouns in English by adding’s Example: The boy’s school. If the noun is plural and thus already ends in s, we simply add the apostrophe. Example: The boys’ school. If the plural noun does not end in s, the usual’s is added. Example: The children’s school.
The possessive form is used only for people and animals. Thus it is incorrect to say: The book’s cover.
In everyday conversation, the noun modified by the possessive is understood and not expressed. Example: I am going to my friend’s (house).
Welcome to your high school
A. Simple present
The simple present tense is used for repeated actions, that is, for actions which go on every day, every week, from time to time etc. Example: He comes here every Wednesday.
The simple present is also used to indicate customs or habits of people. Example: Rachid gets up early.
It also expresses facts that are always true. Example: The sun rises in the east.
